Who We Are

Do It for Mead Productions was founded in 2020 by University of Portland theater graduate Maddie Nguyen as a tribute to a beloved theatre history professor. We believe in making the art you want to see in the world, and that it's more fun if you do it with friends.

Our first production, i defy you, stars, was a GROW Award recipient for the 2021 Fertile Ground Festival. The Misadventures of Missy Black: a Pirate Play, premiered as part of the 2022 festival and received a GROW Light designation.
